Thameside is a small and friendly residential caravan park, containing 60 park homes, located in beautiful Oxfordshire countryside close to the river Thames.
The park is located at the hamlet of Bablock Hythe, 12 miles west of Oxford and 8 miles south of Witney. Bablock Hythe was the site of an ancient ferry crossing that operated on the river Thames from the 13th century. The ferry has now stopped, but the Ferryman Inn is still open, our ‘local’ pub within easy walking distance, that serves traditional food and drink, and has a large beer garden overlooking the river.
Thameside is a quiet residential park for the over 45s. Children are not allowed to live on the park, but pets are permitted. The park has views onto open farmland, and offers easy access to the many footpaths and bridleways that walkers and riders use to enjoy living in beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, by the River Thames. Boat moorings and fishing docks can also be rented at the adjacent Bablock Hythe Caravan Park.
